Q1 2010 Members Meeting Announcement

3/10/2010 02:49:00 PM by Travis Jensen |

Thursday, March 25, 2010, 6:00pm - 8:00PM

NOTE: Speaker special start time 6:30PM

Trust is the one thing that is common to every individual, relationship and team. In his book The Speed of Trust, Stephen M.R. Covey lays out the economic formula for trust: "Trust always affects two outcomes-speed and cost. When trust goes down, speed will also go down and the costs will go up. When trust goes up, speed will also go up and costs will go down."

Trust is a vital to successful Product Management and Product Marketing. In this presentation, Lance will apply the principles of The Speed of Trust to help you build prosperous relationships with your teams.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Lance Wyckoff brings over 25 years of marketing and sales experience. His initial foray into the business world began at age 22 when he opened and operated his own triathlon stores in the San Diego Area. Later he was recruited as the Director of Operations of a chain of 42 retail stores, which he grew in profitability and volume until they were acquired at a profit by a larger competing chain.

Throughout the years he has been a proven performer in a number of capacities; A former decorated police officer, Registered Investment Advisor, Territorial Sales Manager, and of course Trainer and Facilitator. Lance got his first taste of teaching and facilitating in the 90's and has traveled nationally & internationally conducting seminars and training sessions on a variety of topics including sales training, teambuilding, and productivity.

Greatly influenced by the book "The Speed of Trust" by Stephen M.R. Covey, Lance had reaffirmed that any long term strategy for success has to be built first on a foundation of trust. As a result of his experience and passion to help others achieve their goals and aspirations, he now spends the majority of his time teaching the principles and language of trust to organizations and companies across the globe.

Lance has served on several advisory committees including the "Fast Forward to End Hunger" campaign, Chapter President of the Video Software Dealers Association, and his local city council. He has been married for 24 years to his wonderful wife Juli and they have 4 incredible children. His admitted weakness is anything to do with the outdoors. Bass & fly fishing, hunting, boating, ATV exploring, and of course golf are among his favorite getaways. He and his family make their home in the Rocky Mountains.
